Food Distribution!

9:00-10:30 a.m. or until food runs out at Warrenton UNited methodist church

This the FINAL Food Distribution! The Fauquier County Food Distribution Coalition is retiring. Thanks for a successful 20 years.

Our MISSION

We are a coalition of Fauquier County individuals, churches, service organizations, schools, businesses, and state and county agencies organized to distribute USDA food commodity items and purchased and donated food to families and individuals. The coalition began in 2002 in order to provide a source of food and relief for residents (both permanent and transient) who are in need of assistance. We distribute food to an average of 100 households each month, and rely on more than 600 volunteers annually.

Monthly Food Distribution

Food is distributed at no charge to those who can demonstrate need every third Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM (or until we run out of food) at Warrenton United Methodist Church (341 Church St, Warrenton, VA 20186).

FAUQUIER COUNTY FOOD DISTRIBUTION INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

We will do our best to be here, regardless of the weather.  However, if the Virginia State Police and/or VDOT have issued a statement asking for drivers to stay off the roads, then the distribution will be cancelled for that day.  Should distribution be cancelled, there will NOT be a make-up day.

Please use your best judgment on days when the roads are wet, slick, icy, or snowy.  Check Facebook for an update in the morning.  If you call our phone number, please realize it goes directly to a voicemail.  We will do our best to respond as quickly as possible.

Our sincerest thanks to all who contribute. without the generosity of our community, many people would go hungry!
