our mission

We are a coalition of Fauquier County individuals, churches, service organizations, schools, businesses, and state and county agencies organized to distribute USDA food commodity items and purchased and donated food to families and individuals. The coalition began in 2002 in order to provide a source of food and relief for residents (both permanent and transient) who are in need of assistance.

The coalition members meet on the first Thursday of each month, at the Extension Office at 24 Pelham Street, Warrenton. The meeting allows the coalition to view past distributions, plan future distributions, and direct coalition operations. Any organization or individual is free to join the coalition, pending board approval. Send us an email with your request, and we will be in touch.
